When I ordered the Columbia 20 Trough Feeder, I was expecting the same quality design as the Columbia 12 Trough Feeder I have. The 20 does not have the flip top as the 12 does. Instead, the 20 must snap in on both long sides. The long sides of the base tend to curve inward, which makes attaching the top a bit challenging. It is not something I would remove for easier filling - only when I have to for cleaning. The legs are foldable to enable the feeder to sit flat on the ground or in an elevated position. They are only attached via 2 very small plastic pins on each side. In less than 24 hours, one of the pins broke off. The leg can still be inserted in the trough to make it stand in the elevated position, but it is no longer attached.
The feeder is a perfect size for my 4 hens and it is easy to clean. I will use it for a coop feeder when it rains and for fruit and veggie treats out in the run. I would recommend this for the specific size, but not especially for ease of use and durability.

So far really like this feeder. Plenty of room for growing chicks to get their heads into. Easy to fill with feed. Holds plenty of food. Plastic cleans easy and dries quickly. Very satisfied only improvement would be a bit more coverage over the feed cause the chicks tend to roost on it.

We got this because it said it was good for ducklings up to full size ducks. It is too tall even with the legs folded up for our 3 day old ducklings. Other than that I think it's a good product for older ducks.
