Cut Out Switch
- 7"L x 2"W
- 4-3/4" knife
- All connections are stainless steel
- Attach with screws or nails (not included) to a location where the lever can be switched up and down. It's best to mount switch with yellow handle of lever on top. The switch is "on" when the lever is up.

- Use another piece of insulated wire to run from top contact terminals to the fence.

I am using these to replace electric fence switches purchased at TSC as the TSC switches fail. These are excellent switches and should last a long time. They have gone up in price as the first batch was $8 a switch and now they are $13 dollars a switch, but once installed one should not ever have to replace them.

This is a real good quality switch—we have another one just like it. It is easy to see if our fence is on or off from a far distance away.

I purchased two of these for cut-outs at gates. Ordering and shipping was fast and easy. These heavy duty cut-outs were definitely better quality than available at local farm supply and worth the few extra bucks.
Installation was a breeze on wood post. Be sure to hang with yellow handle up while in hot connection so the disconnect handle stays down to keep disconnected until raised back to connect position. Also use a insulated feed in and out wire so you don’t grab a hot wire when moving switch. Ask my wife how I know that.
