Double Insulated Wire: DCPIW34
If you intend to build permanent electric fences, you're going to need double insulated wire.
All of it looks the same to the less experienced user. But the differences are in the details—gauge, tensile strength, insulation thickness and single coat of insulation vs. double coat.
If you intend to use for temporary or semi-permanent fences, look to MaxiShock Insulated Cable.

Perfect!

A quality product. Double insulated is best for permanent fences. I find it easier to cleanly strip the ends than I would have imagined. Would certainly buy again.

I lost a ewe to a cougar in daylight, 9 AM. That's a first so it made me go over every part of the electric fence. The energizer tested fine, but then nothing. I think the cable that was on it before for grounding wasn't very good. This stuff is, and is easy to use. The fence is hot now, full charge a half mile from the charger.

This is what you need when you want to go underground or bypass metal. Use the insulated cable, the other that they sell, the non-cable will not strip from the insulation. I made that mistake and re-ordered. No hassle, no problem. Great product, great company to work with over the years. I have miles of fence and many, many gates.

Used it underground for an electrical fence to keep the deer from devouring shrubs & flowers. Works great!
