Product Details
An electrifiable walk-through gate for electric fences. Simply lift the top bar of EasyGate to release the lock and go through.

- Rigid design maintains shape (vs. soft gates)

- Stainless steel clips at each end provide electrical connectivity
Gates must be electrified in order to effectively contain livestock and deter predators. They are not a physical barrier.

Common Questions
- Do I need a PowerLink?
- It depends. If your gate will be a terminal end of the fence, you don’t need a PowerLink. Use the included stainless steel clip to power the gate.
A PowerLink is useful when your gate is positioned between two electric fences. It’s an insulated “jumper” that allows you to enter or exit the paddock without turning off the energizer. Simply unfasten the PowerLink’s alligator clamp before using the gate. Don’t forget to reconnect it when you’re done!
- Does it work with Pos/Neg Netting?
- No. However, it does work with all of our Pos/Pos standard netting.
Precautions
Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric netting. We do not recommend the use of electric netting during harsh winter conditions—ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed.

This thing is great! So much sturdier than the one I bought for the chicken fence. I got it for a door to the temporary sheep pasture because they were learning to go through the four-wire fence when I turned it off to go inside. If I need to get a new one for the chicken run, this is the one I’ll buy.

I needed some help from customer service and I got it from a very patient person! Without any instructions that I could find, my husband and I put it together with a few do-overs. It was fairly intuitive, but I was out of patience due to missing parts or different parts than shown in the video. (Note: do not name things "EZ" anything -- it is just a bad idea, like saying the Titanic is unsinkable!)
The customer service person very kindly helped me find the instructions online and realize that the video I had was for the flexible gate and not the framed gate that I ordered. I was missing the Allen wrench but used a substitute of my own (my husband said it would not actually be called an Allen wrench, but whatever), and the dock. I thought it should have the handle shown in the video for the other gate, at the top of the opening edge of the gate. I might like that better, but I had no idea how it worked without that part. She directed me to an instruction PDF (no instructions came with the gate and no parts list). I now understand how it works and look forward to using it, as I have been trying out the 48" netting without a gate, which is inconvenient.
I know people say it is flimsy, but that is to be expected so it can be portable (weekly moves are what is expected). So I would still recommend it, but also recommend the company make a video for this particular gate with close-up shots of the parts, and make the instructions more searchable from the search bar. I know I should have looked on the page (the link to instructions was at the bottom), but I was just searching for instructions and did not find the PDF. Including a parts list and instructions with the gate would have been great. I got instructions for my netting, so I was surprised not to see those things in the box with the gate. I sure hope there are instructions in my solar fence charger!
So if you have trouble, call Premier 1. I appreciate how easy the number was to find! She was a great help and is sending the parts, but the missing ones are actually optional!

The gate works very well. Adults can open and close it by using only one hand which is awesome. Both my daughters age 12 & 8 can come-and-go into the paddock with ease utilizing the gate.

I like these gates. Simple, lightweight. I add a short, strong bungee to keep the gate seated in its foot rest. It would be more stable if both gate posts were double spike, but I usually fasten the opening side of the gate to a stable post or permanent fence. If the power comes from the other side, you don't have to disconnect it to go through. Recent packaging change made assembly even easier, though you do need some hand strength and maybe a tacky grip fabric to hold the cross poles still while screwing into the end.
