New! Manage rotational grazing with this heavy-duty galvanized mounting post. Specifically designed for Premier’s EcoReels or EcoReel XLs (sold separately), this end post lets you subdivide pastures and move multistrand fences in a fraction of the time.

Specs

- 6× U-bolts with lock nuts
- 1× bungee cord (color may vary) for drag

How To Install
- Step the post into the ground until firmly seated, then mount the reels at your preferred height.
- Anchor the post to a nearby fence or post using the included stabilization chain.
- Weave the shock cord (for drag) through the reels and secure it at the top before unspooling your fence conductor.

Tips
Leave the included shock cord woven through the reels and secured at the top while unwinding your low-tension fence conductor—this keeps the reels from freespinning and tangling the line. When you’re ready to rewind, slip the rope off the top of the post and unweave it from the reels; it stays connected at the base, so you won’t lose it. Reconnect the drag rope once the fence is fully rewound.

He came up with the bungee drag idea himself, and we agree—it really works. No free-spinning = no bird’s nests.
One thing to watch: the stabilization chain earned its keep in our Iowa winds; without it, a fully-loaded post has enough weight up top to lean.
