How To Use
Common Questions
- Can 9V alkaline batteries be recharged?
- No. EzePower™ batteries are non-rechargeable alkaline dry cell batteries designed for single-use operation.
- Why choose a 9V battery energizer instead of solar?
- 9V dry cell batteries provide dependable fence power without relying on sunshine or a 110V outlet. They are ideal for timber, shaded pastures or other low-sun areas.
- Can I reuse a battery from last grazing season?
- Possibly. Remaining battery life depends on prior use and storage conditions. For the most dependable fence performance, we recommend keeping a spare battery on hand.
- How should batteries be disposed of?
- Always dispose of used batteries according to local regulations. In most of the U.S., alkaline batteries are generally considered safe for normal household disposal because they are mercury-free. Recycling is encouraged where facilities are available.

I've been using these batteries in my Intellishock 20B energizer for almost 5 years. This my 4th battery. Used in conjunction with a solar panel they last just about 1 year.
