- Hard plastic trough with galvanized steel grid
- Size: 38"L, 5"W, 4"D
- Grid spacings (ea) 5" x 6"
- Adds strength.
- Keeps young kids from lying in the feeder.
- Prevents boss goats and sheep from dominating while feeding.
- Goats can't push feed out the end with their noses.
See installation instructions above.
The 4" brackets are too wide for the spacings of our PowerBilt Panels (3"). They do fit our standard welded wire panels.

Very disappointed. Ordered six of these to hang on Premier Powerbuilt panels but the spacing of the hanging bracket does not align with the spacing on the Powerbuilt panels. Wish that had been made clear in the write up since it says they work on panels.

Great feeder, but very expensive.
They're very useful for both sheep and goats, but you'll have to trim the bolt holding the grate down for it to fit on a 2x4. (Or replace it with a deck screw to semi-permanently attach it to the board.)

I like that the feed isn't getting pushed out onto the floor and the dividers keep the bigger lambs from pushing the little ones away from the feed.

I like the trough and the sheep can eat out of it fine. I did have to change the bolts (3) that came with the unit to to shorter ones. The longer bolts would not allow the feeder to fit over a 2 x 4. The feeder is designed to fit into a hog or cattle panel. I tried it in a panel, and it fits nicely--but that wasn't where I needed to put it.

I can't believe how much easier it is to feed grain to my goats! I can't believe I waited so long to buy one of these - its great! Very goat tough too - withstands lots of goat jostling and I have used it in very cold (minus 20 degree) conditions - not much lasts at those temps but this trough is GREAT! (although the cold metal can catch a tongue or lip when its that cold - but the goats learned to avoid that problem)
