A high energy gel, packed with vitamins, amino acids and trace minerals for cattle.
It is used as an aid to help maintain normal blood glucose (sugar) levels during stress periods when ketosis (acetonemia) often develops.
Use a applicator gun for dispensing.
Energy Source: Keto-Gel provides 290 grams of propylene glycol. This is rapidly absorbed directly from the rumen to the liver and converted to glucose. *Vitamin A (40,000 units), Vitamin D (10,000 units), Vitamin E (100 units). The ruminant is unable to synthesize these vitamins. There is an increased demand during periods of stress.
How to Use
Place the nozzle near the back of the oral cavity and empty contents, allowing the cow to swallow. One tube can be administered twice daily, or one tube can be administered after IV treatment of dextrose.
