Lamb & Kid Sling
Premier's extra-tough option to carry or weigh lambs or goat kids.
Key advantage is that the ewe or doe can see, hear and most importantly smell them and more readily follows. This is vital for preserving the mother/offspring bond. Less human smell on newborns reduces risk of abandoned lamb(s) and goat kid(s).
Attach a Digital Scale for weighing.

It was just as advertised with a nice Velcro adjustable strap. Have used it several times and it works great. We have even used it to weigh one of our small dogs!!

Holds my smallest lambs well. Didn't stain from getting newborn weights either.
Christine B from Indiana
This works great, easy to use by myself.

Useless. Bought it to weigh goat kids but they slide out of it. Can't keep them in it long enough to weigh them.

I LOVED the last sling I bought. It was green mesh with black straps to use for newborns weights. It is probably 12 years old. I was purchasing something else recently so I thought I would get another just in case this one fails. What I got was a white sling with padding. I am not going to put a newborn lamb into a white sling! It will hold all of the birth liquids in the padding and as it is white will always look disgusting. I would highly recommend the old one and NOT recommend the new version.
