Lamb & Kid Sling
Premier's extra-tough option to carry or weigh lambs or goat kids.
Key advantage is that the ewe or doe can see, hear and most importantly smell them and more readily follows. This is vital for preserving the mother/offspring bond. Less human smell on newborns reduces risk of abandoned lamb(s) and goat kid(s).
Attach a Digital Scale for weighing.

Great size for newborn goat kids, at least standard size. Adjustable strap. Will be trying it on mini nubians this year.

Well made, but TINY and so the use is limited to newborn kids. My 2 week old kids wouldn’t even fit in it so I have to get a different sling for continued weight tracking. I’d rather have a sling I can use through the first few months. This can only be used for birth weight.

Item is well made but not much good on goat kids over 30 lbs. My boers as they are too long in body. It does shine on the myotonic kids though as smaller, shorter, bodies do well with the sling.

We have tried out our new sling with the digital scale and it worked easily and well to get weights on lambs. My only complaint is that I thought we were going to get a blue sling as pictured—we got one that is white. So, it will show the dirt!
Wendy G from Wyoming
Easy to use. Balances the kids perfectly and keeps them calm.
