Product Details

Stiff bristled brush for livestock. Most barnyard animals, like people, like a good scratching post. It helps them stay clean and removes irritants, such as parasites.

Benefits:

  • Mounts easily to a sturdy post, round pole or wall
  • Redirects bad habits (e.g. rubbing on valuable fences, equipment or buildings)
  • Important for an animal’s well-being—helps to scratch itches, remove dead skin and cope with stress
  • Stiff 2" bristles penetrate animals’ coat

Suitable for sheep, goats, cattle, horses and other livestock.

I really like them. But not as much as my 14 young heifers do. They stood there and watched us dig the hole that we put the pole with the brushes on and as soon as we were done they were all taking turns using it. I may have to get some more in the future.

My goats love this brush so much so that I bought a 2nd. Now we have one outside and one in the barn.

Purchased for goats. They are still hesitant to use fully. Most are using it as a head scratcher. Time will tell. They do not like the rubber scratcher I bought earlier. Both scratchers are mounted on the same post. We’ll see if they learn to use them.

Cows took right to it. Sheep… being sheep, took a bit longer and thought chewing on it first was the right way to test it out.
