Stiff bristled brush for livestock. Most barnyard animals, like people, like a good scratching post. It helps them stay clean and removes irritants, such as parasites.

I bought two of the extra-large brushes and put them on posts in my paddock for my three miniature donkeys. They were easy to install and look beautiful. My only problem is that they won't use them. They scratch on the posts on either side of the brushes. I have even scratched myself on the brushes while my donkeys watched, to show them how to use them. Hopefully, they will figure it out.

Bristles are not that stiff and I found they easily come out. Installation was easy. It may work for some and maybe not for others.

I recently ordered and installed two of these scratchers in our goat barn, and the animals LOVE them! We have seven goats and they appear to wait in line and jostle about to access the brushes. I may order more. The brushes are very sturdy and I think they’ll last for a good while.
