How To Use
- Apply splint on the back side of the leg so that the curved bottom touches the ground (it is curved like the pattern).
- Be sure to pad the top with cotton or cloth so that it doesn’t rub.
- Use vet wrap (e.g. SureFlexx™ Elastic Bandage Wrap) to secure splints to the limb.
Note: The top of the splint is scored and can be cut or broken if it is too long.

We have a lamb that was born without rear hooves—both legs. We have wrapped her feet with vet wrap and athletic tape and various solid pieces, including furniture protectors. These splints have been the solution we sought. She walks and runs and enjoys herself. After a month, one leg has healed enough to not need extra protection. She may always need the splint on the other leg, but she has four legs for locomotion.

Recently had a lamb break his leg. Did not have a splint on hand and had to use shims cut to size. This and the medium and large splints are now on hand in case of another broken leg. Fast delivery, good product.

I just bought some Velcro today to secure the splint so will see how that works.

I ordered the small size and couldn't use them because they were too large for my tcup Chihuahua.

I ordered two of each size to have on-hand. I've had goats for 15 years and felt like these would be handy to have. Amazingly I just had a use for the medium size. A baby goat broke his leg and I used the splints overnight before I took him to the vet. It was a severe break and the vet recommended splinting before he could see the goat. I did get the splint a little too tight and it caused some swelling but I was still glad I had them ready and available.
