Ordered this months ago for my ram, finally got around to putting it on him for breeding this year. I loved the look, size, and volume of this bell. But within a week, the clapper had stuck to the corner of the bell and the bell wouldn't ring anymore unless I went in and freed it. Within a month, the clapper had fallen out. My ram is a really mellow guy, so there was no extra wear and tear on it. Hopefully I'll get around to installing a new one, but as it stands the bell just isn't a high quality product and isn't durable at all.

This bell is LOUD! It has a lovely tone to it, which is nice. However, my ram - he’s only 6 months old - went berserk when I put it around his neck. I don’t really need it now, so I’ll try again prior to next breeding season. But it really is a nice bell.
