This clip saved my fence. I just started using the Premier 1 portable electric netting last summer. I got a new goat midway through the summer and she ate the clip and part of the fence, ugh. I finally got around to get the replacement clip and it was so inexpensive and easy to apply. The fence was easy to repair too.

These little clips are perfect for making "jumper harnesses" (using a piece of stranded wire) for polywire. I have a permanent perimeter fence with a single strand of polywire inside. Then I run temporary cross fencing. I needed a better way to temporarily connect the temporary polywire to the permanent, without damaging either. They seem to be secure, make a good electrical connection, and can be removed without damaing anything.

Although I haven't had to use it, its light, inexpensive and sure to work when needed.
