*Number Fed is determined by capacity multiplied by 4 oz (amount of feed the average adult chicken eats per day). Crumbles, wheat, barley and cracked corn can be used in these feeders.
How to Use
Saturn 15: Place on bricks or blocks or hang by using a heat lamp clip.

I purchased the 15 lb. Saturn feeder a few weeks ago, and my chickens and I really like it. I have twenty-eight dual purpose layers and a rooster, and it works well for all of them. It allows the hens and rooster (with his large comb and wattles) to eat from it easily but keeps the hens from digging the feed out with their beaks. Another thing I really like about it is that it has a large inner "dome" on the bottom that is high enough to make the last of the feed come down without me having to shake the feeder. I haven't needed to use the lid but it will be very helpful the next time I get pullets to keep them from roosting on the feeder.

Had to remove every other divider so the rooster could eat. Seems to play feed out ok. Would have liked to know it was made by a foreign company. I try to buy USA.

The chick starter does not flow into the feed sections as I thought it would. I need to shake it a couple of times a day to get the feed down. Perfect size for chicks and I like hat it is able to hang.

I bought this feeder for my white silkie bantam chicks, to cut down on waste from using several different dish type feeders. This feeder works great with crumbles, and the innovative inside lip really eliminates waste from the chicks scooping the food out. The hanging bracket is also a plus.
