Absolute junk!!! Tolerances are so loose the syringe would not hold suction and the wormer free flows out. There are no gradations on the plunger to set the stop to measure how much is given. Tried two different drenchers I had purchased and both were junk. I am saddened that Premier 1 is selling such a low quality product since the organization has repeatedly promoted the quality of their products and that they test the products they sell on their farm.

After years of dosing my goats with syringes, I decided to treat myself to a drench gun. What convenience it would be and how much easier to use. I was sadly mistaken.
I tried to use this drench gun with Safeguard Drench for goats. I loaded the drench gun with half of the dewormer I would need for all my goats and set the screw for the proper dose for the first goat I was going to deworm. The drench gun leaked like a sieve! It leaked from the rubber plunger seal, from the screw-on cap and from the little metal screw you use the set the dosage. In less than a minute, the entire contents of the drench gun were running down my arm, my goat stand and on the floor before I even got a chance to press the plunger.
I tried again with a dose for one goat and ensuring that all fasteners were tight. It still leaked badly. I am extremely disappointed in this drench gun and would NOT recommend it (unless maybe you were using a thick product?).

Good, works as it should. I wish there were other measurements on it. I have a very small flock so this is all I needed, though I’d consider upgrading for my second drencher.

This device is vital to have! It makes medicating my goats quick, safe and much less traumatic for them.
