Benefits
- Provides more minutes of “spray time” per can than other sheep stock markers
- Produces a controlled spray so letters and numbers are easy to read
- Marks last 3–7 weeks
Specs
- 200mL (or 400mL) aerosol cans with spray nozzle
- Available in red, blue, green, yellow, orange and purple
- Label design may vary
- Made in New Zealand
Common Questions
- How many numbers will a can produce?
- In our tests, a red 400 mL can produced approximately 450 numbers (2" to 3" in height) on a porous surface (burlap). Tip: Smaller numbers are more readable for a longer time.
- Is Sprayline scourable?
- It’s accepted as scourable in the UK, but not in the USA. (No, we cannot account for this.)
- Will Sprayline work on goats?
- Yes, but animals with that are haired (rather than wooled) will “wear” Sprayline for a shorter period of time. Even with sheep, Sprayline will last longer if used on a full fleece.

Works well we have used a variety of colors for a couple years, seems to stay visible for about 4–6 weeks when on a pasture environment, even longer in confinement. We now only use on the head/neck because it does stain wool even as it grows out and that stain does not scour (product doesn’t claim that it does) but it does not change the texture of the wool like marking crayons or marking harness crayons do. (No waxy film.) Overall I feel that if you must mark this is the best way to do it.

The outer cap is so hard to get off I broke the button where the spray comes out rendering the whole can useless.

It’s great good quality. I reccommend.

High visibility, easy to see.

The spray paint cans are great for marking sheep that I intend to sell out of a group of sheep. That makes pulling individuals out of a group a lot easier.
