Used for Nigerian Dwarf goats. Very good quality tool, works exactly as expected. You will need to purchase the letter set separately and buy green or blue ink. They really should have an option for different color ink even with an upcharge since now I have two bottles of black ink I cannot use.

We had been using the large rotary belt unit with 3/8 inch numerals on just born calves. This new unit with 5/16 numerals work so much better in the small ears. Very pleased.

These pliers are a major improvement from the pair I was previously using. The letters are easier to load, and it doesn't stick to the ear, making for a less traumatic tattoo. I used this on Nigerian Dwarf kids, and it was a good size for their ears, not too big. I would recommend these!

Lots of room to place tattooer across Nubian Goat ear to the correct location. I have arthritis and find it easy to squeeze tattooer in order to pierce the ear. The only thing I would change is ordering roll on ink. I was under the impression that the paste I ordered was actually a paste, not liquid in a jar.
