Tips
- For best results when cutting, insert the wire square to the cutting edge at the back of the jaw—not at the tip.
- Lubricate tool joints regularly to ensure smooth operation and long service life. If the cutter seizes, soak it overnight in a quality penetrating oil.

I had to remove about a mile of maple sugar lines, with all the main lines strung using high tensile steel solid wire.
These wire cutters performed very well, and that was so satisfying. No major hand strain, and they cut right through 10 gauge wire.
Then I used the tip to cut all the little wrap wires and they were great for that too.
