I highly recommend Strainrite strainers. They can be used as a normal ratchet strainer at the beginning or end of the line (pulled off from the insulator), can be threaded through to put in the middle of the line, and can even be added after your line is up the same as a Daisywheel. They fit my Gallagher tightener just fine. I won’t buy anything else. I’m sold!

Local stores were out of stock, so Premier 1 had the best price and shipping, and the tensioners work great, no problem.

Fast delivery, quality product. I would recommend that you go ahead and get a universal ratchet handle, keep that in mind when choosing strainers.

A standard ratchet wrench does not fit these ratchets. The almost square nut is too large for my wrenches, all five of them, although just barely too big and I have been putting up fences for fifty years.

The best!
