Doesn’t reach 35°F temperature in my location, so the Thermocube never turns on the heat lamp. I turn on and turn off myself. I’m sure it would work really well in snowy areas.

I am using this with my brooding lamp in my coop. It will save me money as I use the lamp to keep the coop above 32 degrees to keep water bottles from freezing. I don’t need the lamp on when the temperature is above 32°.

These temperature sensor switches are not the top of the line and are priced just right for what you get. The reliability is approximate and seems to work properly within 15F deg. of the stated specs.
I purchased six and all seem to be working well so far. There were concerns from other buyers that they did not always work…and as with most electronic switches or sensors they either work from the factory or they don’t work. That some people have gotten non-functional switches is not an indicator of quality but of the manufacturers poor quality controls.
