TrapNet
Bantam tight mesh for all small and young stock. Stop hard-to-catch birds, lambs and kids in their tracks using this strong and lightweight net.
- Extra-tight mesh is gentler on birds’ feathers
- Telescoping, twistlock handle provides the needed reach that makes up for our own inherent lack of speed
- Extension is quick to adjust on the fly
Finding that lambs and kids are too fast? Reach out and grab them even when they’re on the run. Wide opening guides animals that are too slim for back or leg crooks.

Great net. This is my second. The net on the first lasted a year. Would be 5 stars if there were replacement nets.

Need a net for that stupid chicken you just can’t catch? Get this net. My 7 year old uses it to fetch chickens with ease. It’s also big enough to “contain” Mini-Nubian goats, so in spring it will be big enough for their kids. Speaking of kids, my 4 year old fits inside the net as well. Which usually gets his older brother in trouble.

The Trapnet was exactly what I was looking for to replace a previous net that had been lost. I like the length of the handle and the net is made of a material that the weave is close enough to retrieve Guinea keets from a grassy nest site to catching larger stubborn poultry. I definitely recommend this net for use with poultry.

Excellent net for catching any type of poultry. Sturdy and light!

This thing: YES!
I just stood in one place, extended my arm, and voila caught the 6-week old lamb running past me. The netting is sturdy, the frame is light to handle, yet strong. The opening is the perfect size compromise between “big enough to catch a 6-week-old lamb,” yet “small enough to maneuver deftly.” This net is a game changer.
