If you want or need to make any shape enclosure other than a square with electric netting you will want some of these on hand. Yes, they will bend but they still give support to the netting. I'm not sure that you would want them to be completely rigid either though. Depending on the direction and type of tension, I sometimes use them inside and sometimes outside the netting.

These poles are very easy to set up and attach either wire or netting. Do not expect them to hold up to tension they will bend over.

We Installed 400 feet of Poultry netting plus and these made corners and ends come together! A lot better post than I can find in my area! We have found many uses for these posts it’s only your imagination that holds you back!

This is my second purchase of the 35" Power post. Prompt delivery MUCH appreciated!! Function: I agree with many other reviewers to be careful about pushing them into gravel and that with too much pressure they can bend. I solve the last issue with some kind of support, like a second post next to it and time them off together. This is really only an issue with where I start my line or on places that create a corner.
I did not encounter the problem with the clips having any kind of burrs in the plastic that could damage the intelli-twine.
I really love this system for my two cattle and only purchased more posts so that I could be more inclusive where I want the cows to "mow/eat".
I wonder what happened to the stirrup posts that I've heard others write about. It sounds slightly superior? Anyway, good product here just the same.

I purchased the green 48" posts. Not all of the slots in the clips are cut clean. A sharp pocket knife is essential to clean up the clips to avoid snagging the metal filiments in your twine or net. This is my 3rd order of these posts over 2 years and the I've encountered this problem in all 3 orders.

I got the 35" posts to go with my 164' fence for sheep. The posts are easy to put in - I like the little step thing at the bottom to push them in, but be gentle if you have stoney ground. The slots don't match up perfectly on my fence, but I don't mind and can make it work just fine. They do a good job adding support at corners. Because I like/need odd shapes for my fence (not just a rectangle or square), I'm ordering a few more posts. I think they do a good job.

I agree with Melody P. The stirrup posts, which are no longer available from Premier, were much better. The clip spacing on these does not match my temporary sheep fencing as well as the spacing on the stirrup posts and these are not as sturdy. My first choice is to buy from Premier but after a quick search on the Internet I see that I can buy the stirrup posts elsewhere. I would buy from Premier if they would bring them back!

Nice design, easy to drive into the ground with the step, loops are in a handy position for netting horizontals. Very effective at keeping netting upright and taut. Caution: On stony ground, if you bring your foot down hard on the step, it's easy to snap it off. It's sometimes necessary to relocate the spike a few times if it hits a stone on the way down, even if a firmer push might have moved the stone out of the way.

This is the second time I have had chickens, and using the movable electric fence is great. The design with the rod to step on is so much easier that another brand I tried. I would recommend this fencing to anyone who wants to keep their chickens safe.

Sharp point enters our ground easily. Function as expected. Wish we could still get stirrup posts! Probably won't bother mail-ordering posts next time since stirrup posts aren't available.

Nice product. Pretty sturdy, but I noticed that if you can't put too much stress on them or they will form a little curve in the post, not a big deal now but not sure how this will affect the posts long term. But for the price, it isn't a big deal if I have to replace 1 post. Love the step in feature.

Easy to use, very simple set up, stays where you put it, but no problem to relocate or pull up to weed eat under it. Not made for chickens, but doing a fine job of keeping them out of my garden. I am extremely satisfied.

Easy to use and reuse. Stepping in is much easier than other like products. I would buy these again.

After the first year using my 21" garden fence, I found the spacing of posts too far apart and it was difficult to prevent sagging. I placed these in between each post. Much better, just wish they would also had been available in white. They are very sturdy and have good ground posts.
