The huge pigtail is nice to grab and the posts are very visible-especially when combined with intellitape. It's too bad that the steel shaft isn't stronger as the posts bend pretty easily. The little red posts I used were tougher but harder to step into hard ground. A good post but tougher steel would help.

I'm from nz and I received just what I wanted, and a heck of a lot cheaper too. Many thanks.

I bought a few of these posts, as the pig tail posts I buy locally were out of stock. I was disappointed in these posts. They don't have a flat step-in plate, so are harder to step into the ground, and with any strain at all they pull out of soft ground and tip. Worse than that is the fact they are not spring steel, so instead of flexing under any strain or force and springing back, they simply bend. I have purchased pig tails from various sources, and these just don't perform as well as any of the others. On the plus side, the plastic on the top loop is very strong, and the twine is very easy to install.

35" tall ones are great for intensively grazing parts of pasture for invasive species control. I use a small portable hand drill to predrill a hole in hard ground.

The best pig tail fence post on the market. I use them with the plastic clips for holding the poly wire for controlling my sheep as I rotate them around the pasture. Would recommend them to anyone.
