I bought a few extras when buying my initial set up for pasture rotation. They are easy to tamp into the ground... not so easy to remove sometimes. It's wet here in the PNW and sometimes it's nice to have a metal bend such as on the netting fence to reach down and pull up on. Otherwise even with gloves on, my hands just slid up the pole instead of pulling it out. They are a must have for any system when working with odd shapes or needing support in corners to keep the fence taught.

It works well but it would be worth while to experiment with a longer prong to be driven into the ground to improve effectiveness

Holds up the netting great where it needs a bit of help
As far as I'm concerned, these poles are a must have if you intend to use electric net fencing. Order more than you think you'll need. My fence isn't always in a perfect square or rectangle and in those cases you need more than 4. They keep the fence nice & taught.

Best post I have ever used. Will not purchase any others.
