Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric netting. We do not recommend the use of electric netting during harsh winter conditions—ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed.

I have 2 of these gates for my sheep. Easy to install and makes access to paddocks very easy, even with only one hand. I have no experience with “the old gates” if they were better than these then they must have been something. I like these gates. I will getting more as my flock grows.

I like the new style gate so much I ordered the replacement parts to make my own gates on the end of the fencing! My crazy frugalness. I have to get the right size PVC pipe, etc. My wife says with the DIY time it's now a million dollar gate...

Bring back the old style net gates! I don't want this long pole with no spike, this extra piece of plastic, and this extra pole. It is extra weight, harder to move, harder to install, and pointless! The old gates worked just fine. I'm trying to figure out how to convert this gate to the old style.

Well this is my second review. The first was for the fencing, this whole system is more than I expected and the gate is so easy to add on and use. I definitely recommend Premier 1 products.

I will be adding chickens to our family next spring. I needed something that I could install myself. I’m 60 years old with very bad knees. My sister assisted me with the install and we were able to put this up quickly and no problems. I will recommend this fencing to everyone.
