Aluminum Tube RedCote™ Crook
Use this neck crook for grabbing animals as they are passing by or singling one out of a group.
Red outer finish means it's less likely to be "misplaced" in grass, straw, closets, etc. Also prevents uncoated aluminum from leaving black oxidate on your hands and clothes.

I had never used a crook before but I am sure glad I bought this one. It is light weight and easy to use. It still takes a little extra work to wrangle an Alpaca but not nearly as much as before. Great timesaver tool.

Used for the first time this week on a 5 month old Dorpher lamb. Not worth buying. She bent the shaft. I tried it on a full grown Dorpher and it will not fit her neck. The crook needs to be much wider. Since Dorphers are meat sheep and super strong these aren't meant for them. I will just keep roping them.

Best one i have used. Light and durable. Doesn't warp during rainy months from hanging in barn like the chesnut.

I love this thing. It makes life so much easier. It is tuff and rugged. Everyone who has seen me use has asks where I got it.

I just got this crook last week, and I had never used one before. I tried it out the other day when a particularly hard to catch goat needed medicating. This has traditionally involved a frustrating 20 minutes of chasing her around, but I got the crook around her neck immediately. This is going to save me SO much time. I love it!
