The installation was straightforward and easy. The bowl drinkers fit through the construction cloth wire easily and were easy to connect to my tubing. I am waiting for my quail to arrive to see how they will respond, but at the moment I think they will work well.

Nice size for hens and turkeys.
We have three mobile chicken tractors set up with 5-gallon buckets on top that feed to a T and then into two of these cups. We have replaced 1 of the 6 cups in use because we hit it with a cinder block during some reconstruction on the coop and broke off one of the little red ears that holds the bowl hinge. Other than that misuse, we have only had some clogging issues, and that is fixed easily enough by taking it loose and running water backward through it. Be sure to put these somewhere you can easily reach with your hand from both sides, as you need to clean them by hand on occasion. Other reviewers have mentioned dumping out the muck, but mine are threaded through 1/2" hardware cloth, and with the tubing on, they do not twist to dump out.
I also have two of these on a 5-gallon bucket without the elbow piece for turkeys. Be sure you go far enough up on the bucket with your holes so you can set the bucket on the ground when filling and not break off the cups.

Best cups ever. Sturdy and large enough for turkey use.

I have been using this for about a week. It was easy to set up on my chicken tractor. My 2 year old hens figured it out as a drinking spot right away. I set up a pipe with water nipples for the same tractor and like the ease of the cups more. It hooks right onto the 1/2" hardware cloth on my coop run. The hardest part is finding the tubing and fittings. Next time I will buy the kit.

Of the several systems for a small backyard coop that I’ve tried including dome waterers and buckets with gravity cups, this tube float waterer is easily the best.
They are durable, reliable, easy to install, and easy to clean. Even when elevated anything that can catch standing water around chickens is going to get gunked up eventually. My whole water system is now accessible for refilling and cleaning without having to go in the enclosure. The fixed tray with a float valve is clearly a durable design too. My birds managed to break or jam open some of the admittedly flimsy gravity cups I had gotten through Amazon. The cost and annoyance of replacing a broken waterer is bad enough, but the real problem is that a broken/faulty waterer can exhaust the water supply and leave the birds in a dangerous situation. Reliability matters!
This is my first purchase from Premier 1 but the quality of the these waterers and the fittings/valves is head and shoulders than the flimsy stuff I had gotten on Amazon. Very satisfied customer.
