Blue Leg Aluminum Crook
Specifically used for "grabbing" sheep and goats by a leg or newborn lambs/kids by the body. Depth of the hook reduces the chance of escape.
A goat's agility, slim neck and lack of wool mean that neck crooks are often useless. Leg crooks are best for goats because goats prefer to face you—so if you wish to catch them in a pen, it works best to do so by snagging a front foot.

Life saver with our flock of about 200 sheep and goats. May need to put the hook in a vice to tighten it up a bit. Once we got it adjusted right it has saved us from countless rodeos. I’m ordering a second one as a backup.

Nothing is perfect, but it works the way it’s designed. One size doesn’t fit all, so I bought two and adjusted the head on one of them for smaller sheep and lambs. They bend, but can easily be bent back into shape. Good value for the money.

We bought our first aluminum crook 7 years ago, used and abused it on a weekly basis, and it finally broke last week. We expect the same service from our new one. Great, durable product!

Works perfect for catching my goats.
It was a little big so I put it on my anvil and bent the end a little tighter. Then it worked great. Now I can catch my younger Spanish goats.
