Bucket Teat Units (original design)
Feed orphan lambs, goat kids and calves by attaching teat unit to a square bucket. Teats sold separately. (See Accessories tab below.)
Use a bucket teat wrench to easily tighten or loosen the plastic gray “nut”.
Instructions/Diagrams:
Common Uses
Specs
When using buckets with pre-drilled holes, we’ll drill 1.5" diameter holes, for up to 6 teat units on 3 sides of the bucket. If you decide to drill your own holes, the hole should be 1.5" diameter, and 0.5" up from inside bottom of the bucket.
Teats sold separately.
As an alternative, consider using Easy Clean Bucket Teat Units. The unit itself remains on the bucket, while the nipple and flow control pin can be quickly removed for washing.
Tips
Why so low? When a young ruminant stretches out its neck to nurse, their esophagus elongates and forms a groove that carries the milk into the 4th stomach (the abomasum).
If the neck is not stretched, the milk falls into the first stomach instead of the 4th. But the first stomach is intended for grass and hay. It doesn’t digest milk well. A first stomach with too much milk enlarges to form a “potbelly”—and the lamb/kid can’t thrive.
Mountable Teat Feeders (for welded wire panels or wall mounting) are an alternative DIY option.

I bought the entire bucket system for my goat babies. It was everything i hoped it would be . You might find parts that work as well and hold up as well , but I made one order and it all came to me , faster and at less cost than if I tried to build my own lamb bar . Finally , a product that I was not disappointed in . Thankyou Premier !

I like the design of these units. The lambs have no problem getting to the very last drop of milk in the bucket!

Love love love these for multi kid feeders using pritchard nipples.

These units are awesome! Huge time saver plus if you hang them at the right level and use cold milk- the babies never get that "pot belly" that other bottle babies do. Last year, we raised several orphans on these buckets that grew up to do really well in the summer shows.
Order several of both the natural nipples to start lambs and harder nipples once they get the hang of it- the lambs will use them up and they will drip really bad- so you want to keep those on hand. I am planning on one set for about two lambs. I replaced the washer at the beginning of the season and that is usually the only time it needs to be replaced, but I keep them on hand just in case.
I also have the wrench so I can change the nipples myself and not have to get someone with "man hands" to help me- but if you have strong hands you may not need it.
The units work great with the Purina Honor Chow buckets- and if you have a lot of those- it is a great way to use them. The bucket holder is just a hair too small for the HSC buckets- but I just wedge them in and let them fall to the side slightly. Those buckets have a lid that is hinged and makes refill simple.
Overall- great product! Thank you for making it available!

We have a bucket that was given to us used. We purchased just extra washers because ours were old and brittle. It was easy to order and the package came in a timely fashion. Our bucket still seems to be a little leaky and made a little mess when we poured the liquid in. It definitely saves time when feeding the goats though and we think it was a great invention!
