I have made these hay feeders before and they are great. We need a few more. The directions are easy to follow.

I loved my single-sided feeders. I had my son’s FFA Chapter build these for us. They did a good job. I’ve been using them for 15 years now.

Followed the plans for a single sided feeder yet needed to modify it to only 48 in. long. Looks great.

The design and plans were easy to read and build. The main problem I have is the feeder is too high for my sheep. They can barely reach the feeder. I had to modify and lower it. Just something to consider when building. I have Dorper/Katahdin/Romanov sheep. Would probably be fine for Suffolk or hampshire sheep.

Instructions are easy to understand and look as if a beginning carpenter can handle the construction.
