Tips
Shepherd’s Choice® Management Tip
Producers should NOT tube lambs that cannot hold their heads upright. In most cases these are hypothermic lambs. They need glucose (IP) and warming first. Once the animal has been revived and can hold its head up, then you can use the various stomach tube devices to deliver nourishment.Precautions

never used the 60cc syringe only the 140 cc syringe. It's the only syringe we've been able to find that fits the catheters which we have found and purchased from our local vet. Strange they wouldn't have a syringe to fit the tube but it's true! Great value and durable.

if i could give this product a ten i would. i could not have saved as many lambs as i have without this product. when give some life saving formula it is immeadiate. and easy. i had a breach lamb this year,he could not suck on the bottle for days because he apparently got fluid in his lungs and everytime he nursed he would choke. he also, did not seem to gain weight so i tube him. he is on the gain now and is happily on bottle

I used these instead of filling (4)-60cc syringes! What a time & hassle saver! My horse actually co-operated with getting Bio-Sponge down him!!! I called all over town...and NOBODY had 140cc syringes...a vets office tried to tell me that no one made syringes any bigger than 60cc! Premier 1 HAS them!!! Great customer service & great delivery time!! My job is much easier now!!!

This is a must have for lambing and kidding. Big enough to milk into and then tube a couple of lambs or kids in the barn. My problem is they don't last the whole season. The rubber gets stiff and won't slide easily. Makes tubing impossible - so I replace them once they get like that. Have tried spraying pam on it or putting butter on the rubber. Helps a little, but they still get stiff after a while. Can't live without these!
