What I expected.

We are new to raising chickens and bought these because they had great reviews and seemed so easy and convenient...and they were for the first week. Our chicks are now just a week and a half old though and are already escaping over the top of the brooder. The sides are not tall enough! They jump on top of the feeders or waterers, onto the top of the brooder panels, and out. I don't know if it's because we are raising freedom ranger broilers and they are bigger, or why these panels seem to work for others and not us. But, my kids are currently keeping guard of the chicks while my husband rushes out to find a new solution to contain them.

The reusable brooder panels are perfect. Very sturdy, easy to clean, and you can make whatever size of pen you need. They shipped very quickly and in a perfect size box. Wish I had found them when we first got chicks!

Quick and easy to put together. The interlocking panels look sturdier that using holes and zip ties. The down side of this is a little lost floor space which is worth the difference.
