Ordered 2 of these to try them for my chick brooders. It's difficult to get the bracket to work on the cage sides and difficult to get the top off the unit in order to get the bracket out. I had to cut some holes in my hardware cloth to attach the bracket to the side. Once installed it works well. I have used the nipple drinkers that you attach to a soda bottle but they leak and make a huge mess. These don't leak and the brooder floor stays totally dry. I will definitely order more just wish the bracket was easier to use.

I give a 110 percent review rating! I absolutely love this product and have a total of 4! 2 in my brooder, and 2 in my juvenile pen. Wish I could post pictures of my happy chicks!

For my cockatiels!!!
Awesome! I was looking for something convenient to provide my flock of 12 cockatiels with up to 8 babies and fledglings with a sufficient supply of fresh water. Cockatiels will turn a water dish/cup into a toilet in short order throwing everything in it.
There is enough capacity in this nipple drinker to provide them with clean water for 2 days. I didn't realize how much water they drink.
I only wish I we could have discovered this nipple drinker years ago. I started to think outside the box and found this. They place they stick their beaks under the nipple, opening their mouths pressing against it letting the water flow into the lower part of their beaks. The fledgling have adapted to it without a problem.
It is easy to fill and rinse out. I intend for find a small floating bright colored ball to place on top of the water to more easily see the water level.
I intend to introduce it my local pet store that I supply my cockatiels to. Maybe they will offer it.

I purchased 2 of these entire set ups the ones that included the black mounting brackets and they work beautifully. The reason I bought 2 units is because I hatch both full size and Bantam size chicks in the same brooder. I put one of the units up high for the larger chicks and I mount the other one lower so that the smaller chicks can reach.

I don't have any more chicks in the brooder for this year but I ordered these for adult bantam pairs. I love these waterers. I have them attached to the outside of the coop with just the nipple hanging inside. No roosting on it so it stays clean and the easy fill top makes watering a lot faster. No leaks and the whole top comes off for easy cleaning. I will be ordering more for chicks next spring and will continue to use them for the adult bantam breeds, as well.
