The chicks love it!

I really like this waterer and it’s slender size, perfect for in the brooder as it doesn’t take up much space. My chicks figured it out immediately; their curiosity alone is all you need to “train” them to drink from it.
However, my one issue with the product is the hanging mechanism. It seems like it’s made to hang on a wire cage like a rabbit water bottle. It could hang on chicken wire I suppose, but then I’d have to set something else up to hang it on. I ended up finding a small container to set it on, and made sure it was set in such a way that it wouldn’t tip over if they bump it. Now they are taller, however, and I need to find a taller platform to set it on. Not convenient. I wish this had a better hanging apparatus!

This has been a game changer. My 2 week old chicks took to it straight away after showing the largest how it worked. It has solved the problems I was having of them either covering the jar style one in pine shavings or knocking it over. The capacity works well for my flock of 6.

This has got to be the best invention ever! It is easy to install and add water to as needed. The water stays clean, no more poopy water! I introduced this to my 25 chicks on the second day out of the shell, and they learned to drink from it exclusively within a day or two.
Whats not to love for $5.80!!! Buy it if you are considering it.
