White clipping oil is a must. Don't use clipper lube/cool sprays... it just dries out your blades and they wear out faster. You can't afford not to use this clipping oil.

I shear all kinds of sheep, llamas, and alpacas. When I first started shearing 7 years ago, I used motor oil, then I found Premier and their products. It's great to have the right tools for the job! I always buy the 1/2 gallon jug and refill an oil can for on hand. This oil saves the wool, and the day! ;)

I love the turn lid on the 8oz bottle, it prevents loss of lid and wasting from spillage. Plus you can then get a larger amount and refill the bottle to use it over and over!

I've tried using standard motor oil to oil the joints on this machine, and although that works fine, I really do prefer premier's oil, it just makes the machine have a nice smooth humm.
