Shepherd’s Choice™ Management TipAdding Deccox to trace mineral salt mix is a means of treating pasture lambs. However, the dosage is tricky. Ewes need 0.5 mg per kilogram of bodyweight. (E.g. If ewes are 154 pounds, or 70 kg, they need 35 mg per day.) In a 55 pound mix of Sheep Trace Mineral Premix with salt, add 5 pounds of 6% Deccox®.* Lambs may not eat enough to be treated. One can double the inclusion rate as Deccox is quite safe.
Do not administer to animals producing milk intended for human consumption.

This product is essential for raising young lambs. Providing salt with Deccox in the creep area has totally eliminated scouring lambs from coccidia outbreaks in our flock.

I purchased this on the direction of my veterinarian for my Kinder buck. We were treating him for chronic severe coccicidia and were running out of options. This worked. Thank you.
Fast shipping, good packaging, and good amount without having to purchase a massive amount.

Arrived quickly and was exactly what I needed. Saved me a lot of money not having to buy a large unneeded quantity! Will definitely do business with you again!

Directions unclear for small flocks. Directions not useful for use in free choice mineral if one is not supplementing sheep.

My dog was diagnosed with Hepatozoon Americanum over a year ago. He is 20 lbs and takes 1tsp of this twice a day, and he has remained in excellent health since he was initially treated (with a more intense round of 3 antibiotics) thanks to this product.
There are very few other sites that sell this product in a small enough quantity for non-farming purposes, and I am very happy with the product and grateful that it is available here.
