I use these and find them convenient, but they are tricky. First, I had to figure out how they work, and I don’t remember them coming with instructions. But I got the hang of it. Attaching to the cage/crate bars is frustrating, however, just attach the fastening strip FIRST. You’ll have to crawl into the crate or cage if you want it to be easier to do. THEN attach the reservoir.
Tip: Make sure the bottom sets on a bar of the wire and it will stay put. I’m not pleased with the fastening strip. The latch snaps off if you’re not careful.
All in all, it’s suitable, but you’ll have to be clever and patient. It does what I need it to do, that’s why I’m ordering 3 more.

Excellent concept, poor execution. I was so excited when I saw these and I really wanted to love them. I bought two, one for water and one for feed.
When I first pulled them out and put the base and top together, I was immediate skeptical about them working the way I had hoped. I need them to be elevated, not on the ground. I learned pretty quickly to only handle them by the base once full, after spilling the feed multiple times.
I did get them attached in an elevated position - the water too - but the issue is that there’s literally nothing holding the top and base together. Unless you place it on the ground, which would immediately negate the non-fouling, it falls apart the moment a bird makes actual contact with it.
I think I can make it work the way I need it to with a bit more engineering, but as is, it’s a fail for me.

Worthless. Bottom falls off even just 1/4 full of feed. How could this possibly hold water?
I have several and have tried on many cages, many configurations. Repeated failures, even before we got the super hot weather.

I am SO happy these are back in stock. Bought one last year for a chick waterer and it’s been the best. Have not tried it for feed but I’m getting another one to put away.

Love these! Very convenient. I haven’t had any issues with spilling. I put them on the outside of the cage and it is super easy to pull them off, fill, and replace.
