ElectroStop® 10/42/12 Electric Netting
Product Details
ElectroStop is 7" taller than ElectroNet®. Has one extra conductive twine. A prefabricated fence that has 10 horizontal twines (9 conductive); is 42" tall installed, and has large white plastic vertical struts every 12".
White PVC posts are built into the mesh every 12.5'. The result, when energized properly, is a nearly impenetrable mesh to sheep, goats, coyotes and dogs.
The black and white colors provide 24/7 visibility to both humans and animals against light and dark backgrounds. It's low electrical resistance (only 38 Ω/1000 ft) is an important benefit for longer fences and/or fences with high weed contact.
Which ElectroStop® is right for you?
We offer many fences to fit your situation, including multiple lengths with different post spacings, drivable line posts and positive/negative options for dry soils. Visit this link to compare all ElectroStop options.Benefits
Common Uses
For small breeds such as Pygmy or Nigerian Dwarf goats use PoultryNet style netting. The tighter spacings are a better deterrent to these species than the wider spaced ElectroStop.
Available with positive/negative (Pos/Neg) capability for high resistance fencing conditions.

* Pos/Neg (PN) fences are recommended where the soil is very dry and/or the animals do not ground well. Two clips are used at each end. One is hooked to the energizer, the second should be connected to a ground rod.
Quick Ground is a special use netting developed by Premier. Metal filaments in the bottom horizontal strand serve as the ground rod to complete the electrical circuit. It’s designed for those that move netting very frequently. There is a risk with this design; if vegetation touches both the bottom strand and the first positive strand (only 3" away) an electrical short is likely. We recommend using a larger (in output) energizer.
Installation
Tip: When using Pos/Neg fencing, a PowerLink (see Accessories above) is recommended to attach the negative lead to the ground rod.
See PDFs and videos above for additional installation instructions.
Precautions
Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.

I honestly believe if you were flying over the Sahara Desert in an airplane at 10,000 feet and threw a 164' roll of the double spike electric netting out, it would never hit the ground because it would get tangled in something on the way down. I have never hated and loved a product so much. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, but here are some tips that will help you. Buy the shortest roll you can afford, buy the single spike, get some of those fiberglass posts from TSC to help keep the fence tight, and buy the most powerful fence charger that you can afford. Also, try to come up with a way to bundle and roll this stuff up without it getting tangled -- and if you do, I will pay you to share the idea with me!

Fantastic service, quick delivery, and quality product. I originally ordered the wrong size. There was no hassle, and it was very easy. I would highly recommend ordering from Premier 1.

We have been using these nets for our commercial goat operation for over 4 years. We move our goats every 2 to 3 days, and these nets work great. I prefer them over polywire/posts (polywire has its place in the rotational grazing system) for moving goats. I can put netting up and take it down by myself; it is easier with two people, but it is possible to do yourself. We prefer the two-spike, as it can get difficult to put into areas that are near the stone road or compacted areas, but it is not impossible. As long as the fence is hot, the goats respect the netting. Baby goats can get through the netting, and during kidding season we check on the goats multiple times a day; most kids will go back through to get to their mom. We also use the netting to help build working areas out on pasture, as the goats will respect the netting more than the polywire. Overall, if you are looking at a rotational grazing system for goats, the netting is a must-have.

This netting has become our go-to fencing. We use it for both cows and sheep with no issues. Because our land is hilly, we do use FiberTuff posts here and there to maintain the shape of the fence and prevent sagging. In a pasture that is three lengths of this fence long, we might use eight of the posts.

Good product, but the price keeps going up to make it not worth it. Premier 1 doesn’t appreciate repeat customers.
