ElectroStop® 10/42/12 (w/ drivable posts)
This electric fence is used to keep sheep, goats, guard dogs in while keeping out stray dogs and coyotes. Also used to keep bear away from bee hives. Suitable for cattle.
Same mesh as ElectroStop 10/42/12 but this net has drivable posts (.75" dia.) are much stronger and stiffer than standard line posts and can be pounded in with a dead-blow hammer or mallet. Fence installs easily in hard/frozen soils as well as soft soils. Pushing in posts is no longer necessary.
Each roll is a complete fence with the drivable posts already built into the mesh/fence. One roll (100 ft) weighs only 19 lbs. You will need a fence energizer to electrify the net.
For small breeds such as Pygmy or Nigerian Dwarf goats use PoultryNet style netting. The tighter spacings are a better deterrent to these species than the wider spaced ElectroStop.
Available with positive/negative (Pos/Neg) capability for high resistance fencing conditions.

* Pos/Neg (PN) fences are recommended where the soil is very dry and/or the animals do not ground well. Two clips are used at each end. One is hooked to the energizer, the second should be connected to a ground rod.

- #203051 - $1.92 per ft (100' Pos/Neg roll with drivable posts).
Who needs Drivable Posts?
- Those who find it too difficult to push single spikes or step double spikes into the ground.
- Those who install net into: Hard soils in summer, frozen soils and rocky soils.
Very easy to move. Secure for adults, lambs and kids. Extra height is better for large and/or flighty animals. Visible for animals against all back grounds. End posts act as built in gates. Multiple nets hook to each other quickly via a clip on each end. Double spike posts are more stable in soft soils. Plastic strut verticals are more rigid than string verticals. Nets with vertical struts bunch less than string verticals when the net is being rolled up or unrolled.
Tip: When using Pos/Neg fencing, a PowerLink (see Accessories above) is recommended to attach the negative lead to the ground rod.
See PDFs and videos above for additional installation instructions.
Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.

We started rotational grazing last year and use the ElectroStop with drivable posts. When the soil is soft, we don't need a rubber mallet to sink the posts. When it gets hard we use a rubber mallet. Our region is called "the slate belt" and there are lots of rocks and the drivable posts work perfectly for us. They are a little heavier and harder to carry than the standard ElectroNet fence posts but these are so much sturdier that I would never go back to the old thin ElectroNet posts.

We originally purchased the regular charged goat and sheep net. We were so disappointed. It was grounding out and the shock would feel like a 9V battery. Very flimsy design.
After a few months of debate we went ahead and purchased the pos/neg ElectroStop and we are much more pleased. Works great and no grounding issues.
If there is any debate as to which would work for you, save yourself some $ and go with the pos/neg version. The other is just garbage.
Why do we offer it? Because it is similar in specifications to nets from other sources—and comparisons make decisions easier.
Remember, in order to receive a shock from a Pos/Neg fence, the animal must touch both a positive (hot) and negative (grounded) strand at the same time. This will deliver more pain to the animal than an all hot net (Pos/Pos) because moisture in the soil is not required to complete the circuit.
