These are my favorite hoof trimmers — and I’ve tried a lot! I am a woman with small-ish hands, and have had trouble finding trimmers that I can hold comfortably. These are easy to hold, and trim well. Note that they can’t be resharpened. I have between 20 and 30 sheep and I only trim hooves once a year, on Shearing Day, and I find that one trimmer lasts about 1-1/2 years. I always keep a new one in my box, so I’m ready when one gets dull.

I searched, I found, I ordered these, and I am so glad I did. They are easy to use, single handed, sharp and non slip. I am very happy with my purchase, and so are my neat footed goats.

Light use only...the tip is not as sharp as I’d like it, but the base cutting edge is adequate for 1 or 2 goats. I’d go to a higher quality for more use than 1 trim per month.

I love the quality of hoof trimmer. Good feel in your hand, smooth action and sharp enough to do the job quickly.

It could come with a key ring at the very least to make attaching it to a loop easier and become more user friendly in the field. I would also like to see a more pointed tip to the blades as I found this to be too blunt for digging out compacted manure in the nails quickly. Cuts great and haven't had any loosening of blades or unintended locking during use. Hand grips fit well in my hand, XL/M.
