Benefits

Accessories (sold separately, colors may vary)
- Feed Saver Grill reduces wasted feed. Available for the 11, 22 and 44 lb capacity feeders.
- Anti-Soil Trough Guard protects feed in the trough. Affectionately called the “crap-flap” by Premier’s staff. Fits 22 lb feeder.
- Rain Hat protects both the hopper and feeding trough from the elements. Available for the 22 lb feeder.
How to Use
To adjust feed output, release one locking clip toward the trough and lower hopper to the desired height. Repeat for each clip. Reverse to raise.

Precautions
We DO NOT recommend the use of the Feed Saver Grill with roosters or hens that have large combs. The comb could rub on the plastic and become injured.
To reduce the risk of entrapment, breeds with voracious appetites such as Cornish Cross should NOT use the Feed Saver Grill.

I really like the feed saver grill. I have bought them for every feeder I have because they work. They may not stop 100% of waste, however over 6 feeders they have saved me a little over a bag of feed per month. They definitely pay for themselves. Well worth the investment.

The feed saver rings really work. I have a total of 6 now. In the past I have tried making waste guards using wire. They are just okay. These waste guards WORK! I seldom see feed on the ground. The savings in wasted feed will pay for the guards in a matter of months. Highly recommend! And Premier 1 is on the ball and are super fast shippers!

Order was received well packaged and it arrived super fast. Love these! I was confused at first on attaching the hopper to the base, but now they work really well.
I also love the rain hats so they can stay outside. When outside with the rain hat, we set them on a stepstool as the hanger doesn’t work with the rainhat, so we just set it aside. But it’s great to have this option to encourage chickens out of the coop versus making a mess inside eating. When there is really bad weather, just pop in the hanger and hang it in the coop. Easy.
FYI the feeder works best with grains or crumbles, not finely ground like broiler feed which tends to get stuck up inside, especially when not hanging.
