Guillotine Gate
Product Details
Lifting the rope allows gate to be raised or lowered from a remote position…enabling shepherds to start and stop the "flow" of animals from the rear of the chute without an extra person at the front.
Attaches to chute panels and sort gates. Most efficient when used with our Rope Tensioner (sold separately).

I’m pleasantly surprised with the quality of these gates. I don’t usually buy sheep equipment because everything I see is so light weight and doesn’t seem to hold up to commercial everyday wear and tear. These appear to be different. Time will tell as they are put to use. The steel is thick and well dipped. The inside opening is 17” wide. Cross bar above gate is 36 1/2” above highest point of bottom plate. Tabs/Ears are heavy steel with oval slit located 3” and 30” from ground. Free shipping was the kicker for me. Heaviest factory made sheep gates I have seen. See no reason they won’t work as represented. Would buy again.

Works like the video showed. However I would like to see a hook or a cleat installed so that you can leave the sliding door open during loading operations.

Well built, sturdy, everything we hoped it would be!
