Awesome sheller for popcorn!

Does what it says. Quick! Keeps me from getting nasty little “paper cuts” from those little sharp pieces that stick out of one in every hundred-and-twelve cobs.

We grow gem corn and Hopi blue corn as food crops and storage items. Both are relatives of corn grown by Native American tribes in the western US. Cobs are generally much smaller in diameter than Iowa field corn.
This sheller is the right size for our little ears. Perfect back-country tool!

This sheller is low tech but really works well. Sometimes the cob is too large to fit all the way through. If so, simple turn the cob around and you can remove the remaining kernels on the large end by turning inside the sheller.
