It has helped some, but not as much as I expected. It would be helpful if one end was a flat rasp.

I love this rasp. It works well on my goats' and my sheep hooves. You have to wear gloves when using it but I wear gloves anyway when trimming feet. The item was delivered very fast. I look forward to buying from Premier1Supplies again.

It is hard to tell which side is which. Both are very course. I bought this rasp for my Dwarf Nigerian goats hoping it would work better then the rasp I found at the feed and grain store.
No one seems to make a rasp specifically for goats. It is bigger then I expected and hard to maneuver around small hooves.
Make sure to wear gloves when using this rasp as there is no way to grip it without having your hand on one of the rough surfaces and possibly risking a cut hand.
Another review said it would be good for horses hooves and I would have to agree.

Extremely coarse & jagged rasp, useless on soft sheep hooves, perhaps horse or cattle.
