Lamb & Kid Sling
Premier's extra-tough option to carry or weigh lambs or goat kids.
Key advantage is that the ewe or doe can see, hear and most importantly smell them and more readily follows. This is vital for preserving the mother/offspring bond. Less human smell on newborns reduces risk of abandoned lamb(s) and goat kid(s).
Attach a Digital Scale for weighing.

The sling works as it should however the sling I received was white(I know the description says colors vary). That’s gotta be the worst possible color for this kind of application. I’ve used the sling 3 or 4 times and it’s already covered in very noticeable dirt, manure and blood stains. Not a huge deal but still disappointed.

Nice quality sling. Seems durable and holds newborn goat kids well. Was a little disappointed to receive a white sling, as it was stained after the first use. Functionality could be improved if there were D-rings added to the straps, as they are too wide to fit securely in the hook on a hand-held sling.

Great sling. For smaller kids. Not for 4 months or older. I like the safety behind it as I weigh kids. Velcro easy for easy on /off. No hassles. Great for kids that need extra support too. Versatile sling.

Love it! I bought it as we had a lamb born that was lame on one side. We rigged the sling on a wire line, so his feet touched the floor, and he could practice putting weight on the bad legs, without constantly falling over. It took hours a day for weeks, but gradually, he got the hang of manuvering around. He now is able to get about (badly) but under his own steam! This sling was invaluable. I know this wasn't the slings manufactured purpose - but for us, it's been a lifesaver .... especially for a little lame lamb!!
