I’ve finally found a product that will answer when sheep are down and need help keeping muscle in their legs. I appreciate the breast and britchen straps but am disappointed that one of the clips just slipped through and now is lost in the hay. Is it possible to buy a few more?
A product you might investigate that is made in Australia by TePari is a folding aluminum frame with cloth cradle. Don’t know how many hits you’d get for those, but probably some livestock sanctuaries. That’s where I’ve seen them, especially Edgar’s Mission.

I’m sorry to say I needed to return it as it didn’t fit my needs.

Several of our goats went down due to meningeal worm. This sling was perfect for getting them up for physical therapy and giving them their meds. The sling is well made and the straps help to keep them where they should be.

The weigh scale sling I bought is extremely well made and well designed. All of the rings were in perfect places and were very strong. We used it to trim sheep's hooves and it worked well except that it folds up in the middle so we added slats at the sides to hold the sheep for a longer time while we trimmed their hooves.

Finally got a chain hoist and used it this morning to trim my goats’ hooves. Was especially useful for the one that has osteoarthritis.
