My chickens won't lay eggs in them even after I put straw in there. I'm not giving up yet, I might put enough straw or wood chips in that they can't feel the slippery bottom, that might help but obviously the roll away option is not going to work that way. Or if I can find some fake grass to put in the bottom maybe that would work, I don't know. I thought I would save myself the time of building nest boxes, but if I waste too much time getting them to lay in these things I'd have been better off saving my money and building some myself.

If I could give them less than one star, I would. I ordered 3 of these at the end of January. First one cracked and broke within a week. The other 2 followed shortly. Had them installed for a little over a month and all 3 are cracked and cant hold the trays any more. I would definately not recommend this product.

I like the nest box, I have had it for over a week now, but the hens have not used it yet. The light is too bright in the nest box. I have spray painted it three times on the outside to darken it inside. Hopefully, they will use it now.

Easy to install, my chickens haven’t started to lay yet, hopefully they will like the nest. : )

It was too big. I am not able to use it. It would cost almost half of what it costs to purchase to send back so I guess I'm stuck with them.
