We've tried so many different types of blankets over the past 20+ years and these are by far the best. The ewes don't seem to mind them and the lambs don't seem uncomfortable - both big issues we've had in the past. Maybe my wool lambs have small heads or something, because, yes, sometimes the blankets are a little tight to go on, but they're fine once over the ears. I would love for there to be a "tiny" option for these blankets, because sometimes even the "small" swallows little triplets/quads or twins out of a small ewe lamb from Mom's Katahdin flock.

The neck hole in the small is even too small for a newborn lamb. Could not use for a newborn lamb. I had purchased the large size too, so my newborn lambs were put in the large which fit their heads but somewhat too large through the body. The need to be sized more accurately.

Head hole is a little small. Easy to cut and make bigger. Worked great on 2 day old goats.

Spring temps can fluctuate wildly and these were perfect to keep my newborn goats comfortable enough to stay with their mom at night. They are super soft and easy to put on. I will likely buy a few more to keep on hand.

Neck hole is way too small.
